       Working in the tech industry for nearly a decade, supporting a wide range of products—from consumer electronics to software platforms. Over time, I became the go-to person for my family and friends whenever something went wrong with their devices. What started as casual help quickly grew into a trusted role in my community.
       Neighbors who didn’t have tech-savvy family members or access to reliable support began reaching out. Many of them were left with only the manufacturer’s customer service as an option—and that often wasn’t enough. I heard countless stories of people making multiple trips to the store, spending hours on hold, and speaking with representatives who used confusing jargon and offered little real help.
These experiences were frustrating and disheartening for them—and eye-opening for me. I realized how much of a difference it makes to have someone patient, knowledgeable, and local who can explain things clearly and offer hands-on support. That’s why I started Rent-a-Tech Teacher—to bring compassionate, personalized tech help to those who need it most.
